In this picture I see a woman of deep faith. I can imagine that she has gone through many things, joys and tragedies, and I imagine Jesus walking with her through every one of them. In the well-worn Bible I can almost see the relationship she has with God.
Dear God, thank you for the older men and women of faith. Help us to listen to them and allow them to mentor us. May I be like them one day.
Dear God, Thank you for age and wisdom. Help us to respect and pay attention to those who have lived a life of faith and have learned the lessons that we may benefit from. Bless us all in this journey.
