Candles and flames are always a sign of hope and light amoungst the valley of shadows. When I'm down in the dumps, I look towards a source of light for uplifting my spirit.
Dear Lord, I praise your neverending light and thank you for the subtle glow in the shadows of my life. Forgive my lack of hope in times of darkness. I'm glad for the flame from candles, lighting my path. Help me to follow your shining example of your son Jesus Christ. Amen
